In 1985, Alan's wife was hospitalized after a crack on her dry hand became infected. While researching products to help her heal without thinning the skin, he learned that healers had used urea to treat burns and damaged skin since ancient times. This led him to create Dermal Therapy in 1988.

This unique formulation combines 10% Urea and 10% Alpha Hydroxy Acids (Lactic Acid) for optimal exfoliation and hydration, helping relieve dry, rough, scaly, problem skin. Our formula delivers deep, long-lasting moisture while effectively exfoliating.

Higher concentrations of urea are required to penetrate thicker skin, so our Heel Care has a 25% urea formula for callused feet, while our Face Care has a gentle balance of moisturizers for delicate facial skin.
